JULY 10
BURGLARY OF VEHICLE
At approximately 6:45 AM, a 60-year-old male resident reported that an unknown suspect had burglarized his vehicle while it was parked in the 4400 block of Larchmont overnight. The third-row seats were taken at some point after 8:00 PM the night before, and the man discovered the burglary the next morning.
BURGLARY OF VEHICLE
A 22-year-old male resident living in the 4500 block of Normandy Avenue reported that his vehicle was broken into overnight while it was parked outside of his home. The third-row seats were stolen.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A 56-year-old male resident stated that an unknown suspect had damaged his vehicle rear window with an unknown object while it was parked in the 3800 block of Northwest Parkway. The incident occurred between 10:00 PM the night before and 10:00 AM the next morning.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE
At approximately 6:00 PM, an officer was dispatched to deal with a reported stolen vehicle in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane. The 45-year-old male victim stated that, at some point on that date, an unknown person had removed his vehicle from the location without consent.
FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO
At approximately 6:36 PM, a 55-year-old male victim reported that someone had attempted to open a credit card using his social security number, name, date of birth, and home address. He then learned that a different credit card had been opened without his permission. The victim lives in the 2900 block of Standford Avenue.
JULY 11
THEFT OF PROPERTY
An unknown suspect entered the CVS in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane with his own CVS bag and stole an undetermined amount of male hair care products. The theft occurred at approximately 10:28 AM
FAILURE TO GIVE INFORMATION/RENDER AID
A 68-year-old man left his vehicle running in the 3400 block of Rosedale while he ran inside to get some food to go. When he returned to his vehicle at approximately 11:40 AM, he saw fresh damage to the driver's side quarter panel and back door. An unknown witness gave him a license plate number and said the driver struck his vehicle and failed to stop.
FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO
An unknown person cloned a 47-year-old female resident's credit card and attempted to make purchases online. The victim reported the incident at approximately 10:04 AM.
JULY 13
BURGLARY OF BUILDING
A 48-year-old man reported that a range was stolen from a home under construction in the 2800 block of University Boulevard. The theft appears to have occurred between 8:00 PM the night before and 12:30 PM the next day.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
At approximately 7:02 PM, police officers met with a subject at 3800 University Boulevard in reference to a delayed report of criminal mischief that occurred late last year.
JULY 14
THEFT OF PROPERTY
A 47-year-old male resident living in the 3700 block of Granada Avenue reported that an unknown person stole his son's bike from their yard. The theft occurred between 8:00 AM the day before and 4:00 PM the day of.
JULY 15
POSSESSION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE BY MINOR
Police located a can of beer next to an underage driver in their vehicle. The incident occurred at 1:15 AM in the 6400 block of Dickens Avenue.
JULY 16
BURGLARY OF HABITATION
At approximately 7:28 PM, police responded to the 3600 block of Centenary in reference to a burglary of a residence. Two female residents reported that an unknown person had smashed a side window of their residence and removed property without consent.
