Highland Park High School Park Version Choir performing at the Belo Mansion for La Fiesta Luncheon honoring Duchess and Escort mothers

“Des Amis a Ma Table” brought friends together for a French garden-styled luncheon at the Belo Mansion to honor the mothers of this year’s La Fiesta Duchesses and Escorts.  The annual Preview Luncheon, generously underwritten  by Title Sponsor Highland Park Village, gave guests the first peek at the unique porcelain dolls created in each Duchess’ likeness and dressed in a copy of their custom designed Presentation gown.  Laurie Haluska, famed dress designer, created each of the forty French-inspired costumes for the themed “La Fête Royale” Presentation Gala to be held on June 10th, 2017 at the Fairmont Hotel.

Preview Luncheon Co-Chairs Pauline Neuhoff and Kathy Sockwell perfectly orchestrated a fantastique day which included entertainment by students from Highland Park High School’s Park Version and the Highlander Strings.  Former Duchess Presentation Gowns were on display during the Luncheon Reception, followed by a seated luncheon of Poulet Grillé de Dijon, pommes, asperges, and bébé carottes with a dessert of Trois Petits Bonbons and Macaron Francais.   C’est Magnifique!

Luncheon Sponsors included Sewell (Valet), Dal-Tile Corporation (Centerpieces created by The Garden Gate), Dallas Dental Wellness, Dr. Sarah Kong (Favors of Mistral's Savon de Luxe and Creme Mains), Paige and Curt Elliott (Doll and Portrait Display), Mr. and Mrs. Lee Brown (Gown Display), Ruth Ruhl, P.C. (Park Version Choir), and Avon Cleaners (Student Orchestra Entertainment).

Donations may be made online at www.lafiestaparkcites.com to support La Fiesta's beneficiaries In Honor of this season's Duchesses and Escorts.
