UP POLICE BLOTTER: June 26 - July 2

JUNE 26 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

At approximately 1:06 AM, police officers arrived at the 3600 block of Southwestern Boulevard in regards to reports of criminal mischief involving damage to a vehicle. 


JUNE 27

CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD ABUSE 

At approximately 1:18 PM, a 49-year-old female resident called the police to report that her credit card number had been used without her permission in Canada. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A 19-year-old man's vehicle was broken into while it was parked overnight in the 4200 block of Bryn Mawr Drive. The victim's golf clubs were taken and there were no signs of forced entry. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A 37-year-old woman reported that her vehicle was burglarized through a smashed window by an unknown person while it was parked in the 4300 block of Lovers Lane. The burglary occurred at approximately 4:45 PM and more than $2,000 worth of property was stolen. 


JUNE 28

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED 

A police officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding in the 4500 block of Lovers Lane. The officer deemed the driver of the vehicle to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested at approximately 1:22 AM.  

CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD ABUSE 

An unknown person opened a Lowe's credit card without the owner's consent. The victim lives in the 3100 block of Caruth Boulevard and reported the use of his information to police. 


JUNE 29

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A 31-year-old female victim reported that an unknown suspect had entered her vehicle and removed her property without her consent at approximately 8:15 AM while it was parked in the 3400 block of Binkley Avenue. 

FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION 

A 56-year-old male resident in the 4000 block of Stanford Avenue reported that an unknown person opened credit accounts in his name without his permission. 


JUNE 30

DRIVING WHILE LICENCE INVALID 

A driver in the 4100 block of Shenandoah Avenue was arrested for DWLI at approximately 1:17 AM. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

An unknown person attempted to burglarize the vehicle of a 19-year-old man while it was parked in the 4400 block of Mcfarlin Boulevard. The incident occurred at approximately midnight. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLES

Two vehicles parked in the 4400 block of Mcfarlin Boulevard were broken into overnight. 


JULY 2

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

Police officers responded to reports of a burglarized vehicle in the 3300 block of Stanford Avenue at approximately 11:28 AM. The victim, a 35-year-old male resident, reported that the third-row seat was removed from his vehicle without his permission. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

Officers responded to a listed location regarding a possible burglary of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that someone took property from their unlocked vehicle without consent while it was parked in the 2800 block of Amherst Street between 2:30 PM and 8:00 PM.
