JULY 30

Identity Theft
The daughter of an 81-year-old resident who lives in the 3800 block of Mockingbird Lane filed an identity theft report for her mother. Someone wrote a $777.11 check to a Walmart store in Stephenville without permission, on the 81-year-old's account.

AUGUST 1

Animal Bite
A 77-year-old resident reported that he was bitten by a dog around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Armstrong Parkway and Douglas Avenue. The 77-year-old was reportedly taking his two Labrador Retrievers on a walk when they came upon a 45-year-old resident who was walking her dog. As the two walkers approached each other, the dogs "started to show aggression," so the 77-year-old extended his arm between the pets, and then the 45-year-old's dog bit his outstretched arm, causing four small puncture wounds. The 77-year-old was treated at an emergency room.

Criminal Mischief
A 55-year-old resident reported that the molding to the rear driver's side door of her 1998 BMW 740 had been pulled away and was left hanging by the portion that was still attached to the door, and vehicle's emblem was removed from the trunk between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. while it was unattended in a parking lot in the 4100 block of Lomo Alto Drive.

AUGUST 4

Vehicle Burglary
A 48-year-old resident reported that someone broke into her 2010 GMC Yukon and stole the third-row seat between 10 p.m. Aug. 3 and 8 a.m. Aug. 4 while it was parked in the driveway of her residence in the 3200 block of Drexel Drive.
