JULY 23

Theft
A 35-year-old resident, who lives in the 3500 block of Rankin Avenue, reported that her prescription medications were stolen by a computer repairman who was hired to work at her home between May 30 and June 3.

JULY 25

Criminal Mischief
A 29-year-old resident reported at 4:39 p.m. that an unknown person broke a side mirror and chipped a windshield on her 2002 Chevrolet Camaro in the 3400 block of Milton Avenue.

Theft
A 53-year-old resident reported that an unknown person stole a $16,250 Assil necklace and a pair of $3,750 Assil earrings from her residence between Dec. 26, 2011 and July 25, 2012 in the 5800 block of Armstrong Parkway.

JULY 26

Vehicle Burglary
A 54-year-old resident reported that an unknown person entered his unlocked 1998 Lexus GS 300 and stole a $100 Samsung cellphone, $150 Canon camera, $300 pair of sunglasses and a wallet between 8 p.m. July 19 and 8:30 a.m. July 20 in the 2900 block of Westminster Avenue.

Vehicle Burglary
A 67-year-old resident of Dallas reported that an unknown person broke a window to her 2007 Honda CR-V and stole a purse, which contained $20 cash, a drivers license and a Visa card, between 9:45 a.m. and 10:57 a.m. in the 6000 block of Preston Road.

JULY 27

Fraud
A 35-year-old resident, who lives in the 4000 block of Lovers Lane, reported her personal information was used to withdraw money from her checking account by an unknown person between 11:30 a.m. July 26 and 10:15 a.m. July 27 in the 4000 block of Lovers Lane.

Vehicle Burglary
A 39-year-old resident of Dallas reported that an unknown person broke a window to her 2007 Chevrolet Suburban and stole a purse, which contained a debit card, between 10 a.m. and 11:11 a.m. in the 8400 block of Hillcrest Avenue.

Criminal Mischief
A 49-year-old resident reported that an unknown person "wrote racial remarks" on his 2010 Lexus between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the 2800 block of Stanford Avenue.

JULY 28

Vehicle Burglary
A 49-year-old resident reported that an unknown person stole an iPod from her 2008 BMW X5 between 11:30 p.m. July 27 and 10 a.m. July 28 in the 3800 block of Bryn Mawr Drive.

Theft
A 48-year-old resident reported that a $4,000 gold and diamond necklace was stolen from her residence between noon July 25 and 1:50 p.m. July 28 in the 3800 block of Villanova Drive.

JULY 30

Shoplifting
A 31-year-old resident of Forney reported that she witnessed a woman leaving the Tom Thumb store in Snider Plaza with a bag of catfish that was not paid for between 2 p.m. and 2:14 p.m.

Theft
A 49-year-old resident of Dallas reported that someone took a drink without paying around 5 p.m. from the Chevron station in the 8400 block of Preston Road.

Fraud
A 20-year-old resident of San Diego reported that an unknown person used her debit card account without permission.
