Sam Parker and Will Florer, Eagle Scouts

Sam Parker and Will Florer achieved the rank of Eagle Scout at their Court of Honor ceremony on Monday, May 7th, 2017.

Sam is a freshman at Highland Park High School. For his project, Sam designed and constructed a chicken tractor for Bonton Farms. Bonton Farms grows fresh food and provides meaningful work for the community. The tractor allows chicken to feed and fertilize a certain location of the field before being moved to the next section.

Will is a freshman at Jesuit College Preparatory School. For his project, Will designed and built 10 custom lap boards for the patients in the Nephrology Department at Children's Medical Center. The lap boards allow the children to more ably participate in activities while they receive dialysis treatment for up to 4-6 hours per visit.

Congratulations to these new Troop 82 Eagle Scouts!
