For the past 60 years, Porsche has intentionally upset the apple cart. Again and Again. Unapologetically. In 2009, Porsche rocked the auto world with the introduction of Porsche’s first four-seat luxury sports sedan, the Panamera. With the release of the new 2017 Porsche Panamera, the iconic brand will once again shake the market to its core with several new engine options, a more powerful 3.0 liter Turbo, a Hybrid and a longer wheelbase executive edition with additional luxury features.

Park Place Porsche launched the dynamic new Panamera at Em The Venue in the Dallas Design District on January 12.
“We typically strive to create excitement at our events,” said Patrick Huston, Park Place Porsche General Manager. “The Porsche Panamera defies the status quo so we wanted everything about this event to be disruptive. But it also had to be perfectly executed… controlled chaos with an all-out assault on the senses. All to create an original experience that guests would be talking about for some time.”
Guests enjoyed tantalizingly disruptive cuisine, robust hot drinks by Krish Coffee, as well as crafted cocktails from Hendrick’s Gin and Monkey Shoulder Whisky. Also featured were bold fashions by Roberto Cavalli, and adrenaline-producing tunes from DJ Steffi Burns. Cake pop confections were served by pink-bobbed beauties from Fluff Pop Artisinal Cotton Candy.
“With a theme of ‘courage changes everything,’ we wanted a charitable partner that has to think outside of the box too,” said Huston. “Park Place Porsche is proud to support Community Partners of Dallas and their courageous mission to ensure safety, restore dignity and inspire hope for the abused and neglected children served by Dallas County Child Protective Services.”
The new Panamera redefines the luxury sport sedan, showcasing a new turbocharged V6 that produces 330 horsepower, which is standard.  It can also be fitted to the all-wheel drive Panamera 4 models as well as the new extended-wheelbase executive version.
In addition to the new V6, the Panamera will offer buyers three other powertrain alternatives, including the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, which produces 462 total horsepower; the V8-powered 4S with 440 hp; and the top-of-the-line 550 hp Turbo. All four can be had in either standard or long-wheelbase executive models. Sales begin in February with the 2017 Panamera 4S and Turbo models, followed later this year by the rest of the lineup, which will be 2018 models.
