Vehicle Burglary
A 35-year-old resident reported that someone smashed the driver's door window of his 2003 Honda Accord and stole a gym bag containing a towel, workout clothes and swim goggles valued at a total of $200 between 11 p.m. Jan. 2 and 7 a.m. Jan. 3 while the vehicle was parked on the street in front of his home in the 4600 block of S. Versailles Avenue.

Vehicle Burglary
A 42-year-old resident of Dallas reported that someone smashed the front passenger window to his 2003 Lexus SUV and stole a luggage bag containing camera equipment between 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. while the vehicle was unattended in a parking lot in the 4300 block of Westside Drive.

JANUARY 4

Lost Property
A 53-year-old resident of Carrollton, who is an employee of Jack Boles Parking Service, reported that her white gold ring with three diamonds valued at $10,825 went missing between 7 p.m. Dec. 23 and 7 a.m Dec. 24, and she believes it slipped off her finger while she was working at a party in the 4500 block of Roland Avenue.

JANUARY 5

Vehicle Burglary
A 33-year-old resident reported that someone broke his driver's side door lock to gain access into his 2002 GMC Yukon while it was parked on the street in front of his residence and stole a gym bag containing tennis shoes between 8 a.m. Jan. 3 and 9 p.m. Jan. 5 in the 5000 block of Airline Road.

JANUARY 6

Striking Unattended Vehicle
A 19-year-old resident of Dallas reported someone's vehicle damaged his 2002 Dodge Neon but the person did not leave information at the scene between 5:15 p.m. Jan. 5 and 12:15 a.m. Jan. 6 in the north parking lot at Highland Park Shopping Village.

Striking Unattended Vehicle
A 41-year-old resident reported that someone's vehicle struck the left-front bumper of her 2012 Ford Taurus while it was parked in front of her residence at 7:15 p.m. Jan. 5 in the 3500 block of Harvard Avenue.
