Neiman Marcus models with the Rolls-Royce Wraith Inspired by Fashion

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dallas and the Fashion Group International of Dallas recently showcased two amazing themed Rolls-Royce vehicles: Wraith Inspired by Fashion and Wraith Inspired by Film.  FGI Dallas also used the opportunity to reveal its 2015 Nights of Stars Honorees, including 2015 Career Achievement in Interior Design honoree David Sutherland. Honorees and guests toasted the evening with Perrier-Jouet champagne and Kate Weiser’s exotic chocolates.

Debuting earlier this summer at the Pratt Institute in New York, Wraith Inspired by Fashion featured a gleaming white-on-white exterior (Andalucian White and Arctic White) with its signature shoulder-line accentuated with a hand-applied Jasmine Green feature-line.  Inside, the crisp Arctic White and Black colors were highlighted with Jasmine Green piping on the seats and silk pockets inside the signature Coach doors. A seamless stitch, a highly complex technique from the world of fine tailoring, was applied to the two-tone steering wheel by the Leather Shop craftspeople at the home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England. The remarkable craftsmanship and attention-to-detail was further demonstrated in the exquisite application of wood to the dashboard, with the lacquering process for ‘Wraith – Inspired by Fashion’ taking nine days to painstakingly complete. The dashboard was elegantly finished with the integration of a Wraith Clock, set as a piece of jewelry, styled exclusively to emit a pearl effect, reminiscent of silk fabrics.

Wraith Inspired by Film celebrates Rolls-Royce’s storied heritage in film with appearances in hits such as Goldfinger (1964), The Yellow Rolls-Royce (1964), The Thomas Crowne Affair (1968) and The Great Gatsby (1974) to name a few. Cast with a dramatic two-tone Silver and Jubilee Silver exterior, the unique carriage pays tribute to the silver screen, while a solid-silver, hand-cast Spirit of Ecstasy plays the femme fatale, rising from the distinctive hood. Wraith’s coach doors open to reveal an Anthracite leather interior accented with Casden Tan while a bold aluminium band runs through the Maccassar Ebony open pore panelling. Wraith Inspired by Film debuted at the 2015 New York Auto Show last April.

While every Rolls-Royce is hand-crafted, each Wraith can truly be a one-of-a-kind original. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars calls the ultra-customization its Bespoke program. Exclusive color is just one example of Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke capabilities. The world’s ultimate luxury brand offers more than 44,000 colors in its Bespoke palette for exterior and interior finishes.  Over the years, Bespoke designers have matched colors from flowers, lipstick and various personal items in its quest to fulfil each owner’s desires. A remarkable 95% of all Wraith cars left the Home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars with an element of Bespoke design last year.  It’s this personal expression and exclusivity that gives each Rolls-Royce Motor Car its inherent value as a unique work of art.

Wraith is the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever made, powered by a 624 horsepower, 6.6 liter twin-turbo engine, delivering effortless performance and power.  The drive experience is enhanced by Rolls-Royce’s one-of-a-kind Satellite Aided Transmission, which automatically reads the road ahead via GPS data and matches the gearbox to the terrain, ensuring the vehicle is always in the correct gear for the most efficient delivery of power.
