The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will host the 9th Annual On the Move Luncheon at the Ritz-Carlton Dallas on Friday, November 13 from 11:00am-1:00pm. The annual luncheon, which raises funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis, will feature Keynote Speaker Jason DaSilva, artist and filmmaker who at the age of 25 was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis

Orrin & Paula Harrison will serve as the 2015 On the Move Chairmen and US Supreme Court Justice nominee, Ms. Harriet Miers, will serve as Honorary Chairman. This year’s emcee for the event will be Kate Milliken.

For the past few years, Kate Milliken has been immersed in the personal stories of people living with MS. She is the founder of MyCounterpane.com, an online platform that allows patients and caregivers living with chronic illness to lay out their personal narratives based on how they feel. Previous to this, Milliken’s diagnosis opened an opportunity to work with the National MS Society. She produced the We Keep Moving video series (wekeepmoving.org) and continues to work as an on camera host with MS Learn Online and with additional projects for the National MS Society website.

On the Move is a nationwide program created to raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis. Each year, On the Move luncheons bring men and women together to encourage people to give from the heart to support their family members, friends and colleagues whose lives are touched by MS and educate communities about multiple sclerosis.

Sponsorships, individual tickets and tables are available at onthemovetx.org; ticket purchase is required to attend the luncheon.
