This week at University Park Elementary, students brought compostable items from home to add to the composter in the Learning Garden. During their lesson, students added compost to the beds and checked on UP's sprouting plants. The Learning Garden is such a fun and educational experience for students as they learn how to maintain the garden and keep it healthy. They also spent time pulling weeds and trimming the basil plants.
