On April 12 and 19, Professors Jasper Smits and Mark Powers, from SMU's Department of Psychology, will deliver a two-part lecture series on anxiety for the Godbey Lecture Series. The Anxiety Research and Treatment Program at SMU explores phobias such as fear of heights and fear of interacting with society. Dr. Smits and Powers will share what they are doing to increase the effectiveness of interventions for anxiety and help our commuity address a variety of mental health issues.  Lectures will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Maggiano's at North Park and registrations are required.  Call 214-768-2532 or email GLS@smu.edu to register.
