Swing batter batter swing! Celebrating 10 star-studded years, the Reebok 2011 Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game will boast sports stars and other luminaries on the diamond Saturday, July 9, at 6 p.m. at the Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco (7300 RoughRiders Trail). Famous faces will include Mark Cuban (Dallas Mavericks owner), Bradie James (Dallas Cowboys linebacker and defensive captain), Jason Kidd (Dallas Mavericks point guard and 10-time NBA All-Star), Mike Modano (seven-time NHL All-Star), Donnie Nelson (Dallas Mavericks president), Warren Sapp (former NFL All-Pro defensive tackle and Super Bowl champion), Everson Walls (former Dallas Cowboys player and Super Bowl champion), DeMarcus Ware (Dallas Cowboys linebacker and five-time NFL Pro Bowler), Jason Witten (Dallas Cowboys tight end and seven-time NFL Pro Bowler) and more. Note: Roster subject to change. More players to be confirmed, so please check back for the latest additions.

Proceeds will benefit the children's charities of The Heroes Foundation and The Mike Modano Foundation.

Two baseball teams, the Blue Sox and White Sox, each made up of 10+ celebrity players and 10+ amateurs, will play "hard-charging, umpires-umpping, trash-talking, uniform-wearing, base-stealing, home run-hitting, nine-inning, authentic BASEBALL!"

Tickets are on sale now for for $5, $7, $12 and $15 at Ticketmaster (800-745-3000 or ticketmaster.com) or at the Dr Pepper Ballpark Box Office during office hours. Will call will open at 10 a.m. the day of the game. Tickets also will be sold at the door the day of the game.

Baylor Medical Center at Frisco is the presenting sponsor of the Celebrity Home Run Derby and fireworks finale. Media sponsors are WFAA Channel 8, 103.3 FM ESPN Radio and 1540 AM ESPN Deportes.
