I had no idea that the Luxury Hotel Palomar had a restaurant until yesterday, when their PR agency sent us this release.  Blythe Beck, the executive chef is a Texas native and was on the reality TV series The Naughty Kitchen.  Why did I not know this?  It is only a few steps out of the Bubble!  Planning on checking it out myself and you should too!

Inspired by outdoor cookouts, fresh garden vegetables and a regional mix of Southern and Mexican-influenced flavors, Central 214 , a Kimpton restaurant, celebrates the best of Texas summers with its new seasonal menu. Central 214 Executive Chef Blythe Beck is introducing a creative taste of her childhood favorites to the restaurant’s high-end regional new American cuisine, sourcing the freshest seasonal ingredients locally and from around the state.
