The Road to State began for HP Tennis at the UIL District 10-4A Tournament held April 4-5 at Fair Oaks Tennis Park and the finals at Highland Park High School.  The days were overcast and cool, but HP Tennis brought the heat and won all five events and placed 2nd in four! The Scots are hoping to continue the team success at Regionals next week! 

Boys Doubles: 

• Captains Hunter Holman (heading to Texas Tech Tennis) and Connor LaFavre (heading to Xavier Tennis) won Boys Doubles. 
• 2^nd Place: Harrison Buford and Gardiner Perotti

Girls Doubles: 

• Elizabeth Porter and Margo Taylor won the Girls Doubles event.
• 2^nd Place: Captain Elizabeth Burgos and Jennifer Mee

Girls Singles: 

• Sophomore Chandler Carter won the Girls Singles event.
• 2^nd Place: Caitlyn Frankel

Mixed Doubles: 

• Mac McCullough and Elizabeth Tedford won Mixed Doubles event. 
• 2^nd Place: Charlie Legg and Logan Lett

Boys Singles: 

• Cole Hausman won Boys Singles.

Remaining HP Tennis Individual season schedule:

• UIL Regional Tournament: Monday, April 14 & Tuesday, April 15 (all day/both days) at UTA Tennis Courts University of Texas at Arlington.
• UIL State Tennis Individual Championships: Monday, April 28 & Tuesday, April 29 (all day/both days) at Penick-Allison Tennis Center University of Texas at Austin.
