Mark your calendars, as the award-winning Highland Belles Drill Team plans to kick off the first home game of the 2011 Highland Park High School Football Season with their 28th annual Spaghetti Supper and Auction/Raffle Fundraiser on Friday, September 2. The event will be held in the Highland Park cafetorium from 5:00 -7:00 PM.

This year’s theme GOT FRINGE?follows on the team’s long standing annual spaghetti supper fundraising tradition, with the event slated to host hundreds of Highland Park ISD families for dinner. There will be an extensive silent auction and raffle baskets filled with fantastic prizes and gift certificates generously donated by community businesses and friends.

Proceeds are crucial for providing the drill team with important bus transportation to football games, props and equipment for performances, choreography, sound systems, and competition expenses.  This is the one and only fundraiser the Highland Belles have all year.

Amore Italian Restaurant will serve spaghetti dinners while the booster club seeks community support through underwriting, silent auction and raffle sales. Dinner tickets are $8 each, and raffle chances are $5 each, or 6 for $25.00. Raffle baskets include fun and exciting items for everyone in the family.

Tickets go on sale July 1, so contact your favorite Belle to make your purchase or donation. The entire community is encouraged to attend the silent auction held in the HPHS cafetorium during the supper. A fun-filled family night is planned to rally HP spirit before the HP vs. Monterrey Tech game!
