Join us at SMU's student center this Tuesday to Save Asaya or Briana. Every 10 minutes, someone in the US dies from blood cancer. You have the power to save a life!!! Volunteer today to be part of the cure for patients like Briana Lopez, Asaya Bullock and others.
Volunteers between 18 and 44 years of age can step up & Save Briana's or Asaya's. All it takes is a permission form and a cheek swab. Join SMU students in this outreach effort. You or someone you know could be the life-saving match for Briana or Asaya. We need all the volunteers willing to keep hope going for Asaya and Briana.
All it takes is 9 minutes and you'll be a super hero. YOU ONLY DONATE IF YOU ACTUALLY MATCH A PATIENT. Statistically, only 1 in 430 actually end up a match. Again, you only donate if you are a match. But we need committed volunteers. Patients like Briana and Asaya only have a 30% chance of finding a match from their families.
So, We HOPE WE CAN COUNT ON You for 9 minutes of your time to be a part of the Fight to Find a Life-saving match for Asaya and Briana. Or you can volunteer to help man the tabling event with us. To hear one's volunteer's experience, click here
Many thanks to SMU's CHAS student organization for hosting this drive.
