Equest will host two Volunteer Training sessions on May 16 and May 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Prospective new volunteers only need to attend one session.

The training offers individuals the chance to engage in meaningful volunteer work, whether their passion lies in working with horses, engaging with children, or welcoming people into specialized care. Please note, volunteers aged 12 and 13 must be accompanied by a guardian. Interested individuals are required to complete the volunteer application in advance to attend training: www.equest.org/volunteer.

Equest provides hope and healing to individuals with physical, cognitive, and developmental diagnoses through the human-horse connection. In 2025, with 30 therapy horses and a dedicated team of professionals, Equest impacted 727 individuals through direct services and reached an additional 1,511 through outreach and education. 431 veterans were served through the Hooves for Heroes program.
