Dallas Museum of Art's Martha MacLeod, Curatorial Assistant of European and American Art, will talk about the 32 nineteenth- and early twentieth-century masterworks given by the McDermott Art Fund to benefit the Dallas Museum of Art upon the passing of Margaret McDermott at the age of 106.
Visionary patrons of the arts, education, and healthcare in Dallas, the late Margaret and Eugene McDermott were the single largest benefactors in the Museum’s history. This final bequest of Impressionist and modern art includes works by Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Pablo Picasso, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Henry Moore, among many others.
This program is limited to the first 60 guests.
