Libraries Rock!: Highland Park Library Summer Event Series Wrap-up
Every good lineup has a great wrap party.  Come celebrate the jam-packed summer we've had at the Highland Park Harvey R. “Bum” Bright Library alongside the rock stars of the Highland Park Department of Public Safety and the Nasher Sculpture Center.

Participants will have the chance to meet the officers of the Highland Park Department of Public Safety Police, Fire, and Criminal Investigation Division.  Explore the tools of their trade, their vehicles, and ask them about a day in the life of a DPS hero.

The Nasher Sculpture Center will be on hand for a morning of imagination and fun as we create art projects that ROCK! We'll explore abstract form and portraits using rocks, stones, paint, and other media.

The event will take place on Friday, July 20 at 10:00 a.m. in Prather Park, which is located across the street from the Highland Park Town Hall at the southeast corner of Drexel Drive and Euclid Avenue.

Children may also participate in the Summer Reading Club by registering in person at Prather Park the day of the event, at the Library, or online at The Library is located at 4700 Drexel Drive and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 a.m.

The summer event series is generously sponsored by Christine McKenny and Allie Beth Allman & Associates.
