Concerts at St. John’s Episcopal Church presents the Harlos Duo on Sunday, 24 September, at 3pm. Dr. Steven Harlos, pianist, is joined by wife, Carol Noriko Harlos, cellist, in an eclectic program of classics, Broadway, and original compositions, featuring music of Elgar, Couperin, Piazzolla, Brahms, and Lerner and Loewe. Composer and performer Steven Harlos, chair of the Division of Keyboard Studies at the University of North Texas, was pianist for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra for 26 years until his retirement in 2022. Carol Harlos has played cello for the Fort Worth Symphony, the Dallas Opera, the Hawaii Symphony, and is an active collaborative musician in DFW.
