The Inspirata Chorus, dedicated to bringing choral excellence through performance and education at some of North Texas’ most beautiful and inspiring venues, will perform at St. John's on Sunday, 13 October, at 3pm, a concert entitled “To God the Father: Songs of Faith and Devotion.” Inspirata strives to glorify God and foster a heightened awareness and appreciation for sacred choral music through the study and performance of this treasured art form. As part of the Concerts at St. John's series, Inspirata will perform choral music of Harris, Hassler, Howells, Purcell, Tye, Bruckner, Wesley, Wood, Paulus, and others. This concert is free and all are invited. A reception in the parish hall will follow the concert.
