St. John’s presents a Festival Service of Lessons and Carols, a celebration of the music of Advent and Christmas, on Sunday, 14 December, at 5pm. St. John’s choir and ensemble will sing music of Praetorius and Rutter, while the assembly sings the great carols of the season. Arrive early at 4.30 for a preservice recital by the Coppell Wind Symphony Trombone Sextet. A sumptuous reception follows the service in the parish hall. All are invited to this free event.
