Concerts at St. John’s presents a screening of the 1920 Scandinavian silent movie, The Parson’s Widow, accompanied by organist Benjamin Kolodziej, on Sunday, 25 January, at 6pm. Directed by the acclaimed Danish director Carl Dreyer, this drama follows the travails of a young minister sent to a small, Norwegian village. This event takes place in the parish hall, and refreshments will be served. The presence of some scary scenes suggests parental guidance for small children.
