Engage Cognitive Flexibility for Agile Thinking

Wednesday, August 24 at 12:00 p.m.

Ages 18 and Up

Presented by Katie Hinds, MS, CCC-SLP,  Senior Clinician at The Center for BrainHealth at the University of Texas at Dallas.

The brain is dynamic, adaptable, flexible, trainable - and repairable. Just as we have come to realize that we can better our bodies through positive lifestyle habits, so too can we improve our own brain's performance. We can accomplish major goals, enhance team communication, and inspire innovation all around us.

Cognitive flexibility is the key to maintaining and advancing brain health as we age. Learn how to leverage agile thinking to generate and discover novel concepts, imagine future problems, and identify solutions from multiple viewpoints.

After attending this session, you will be able to:

  • Discuss practical ways to break free from stagnant, status quo thinking.
  • Understand how to flexibly update ideas and perspectives to generate novel solutions and improve existing processes.

This FREE event is offered by the Highland Park Harvey R. "Bum" Bright Library.

Registration required through Eventbrite.
