The Center for Faith & Learning is hosting an event this coming Oct 27th 2016 at 5:30 pm in McCord Auditorium of Dallas Hall, on the topic on Race & Religion.

It will feature Professor George Yancey of the University of North Texas (a Christian scholar who helped to start the Christian Study Center at UNT) making a presentation entitled  “Black Lives Matter, All Lives Matter, or Something Else? A Christian Response to Racial Conflict.”  There will then be brief responses from three members of the SMU community.  Full information about the panel and participants is on the attached flyer.

This event is open to everyone, so feel free to tell your family and friends! We will be offering free coffee and pastries at our reception starting from 5:30 pm!
