The City of Keller announced the winners of its 25th annual Holiday Yard Decorating Contest on Wednesday, Dec. 12.
After receiving 26 entries for this year’s contest, judges based their decisions on originality, arrangement and theme. The theme for this year’s competition was “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”
And the winners are:
Individual Home: 1st Place: 1405 Briar Meadow Dr., 2nd Place: 1502 Highland Lakes Dr. and 3rd Place: 1524 Brentwood Trail.
Subdivision: 1st Place: Harper's Glen, 2nd Place: Highland Creek Estates and 3rd Place: Forest Lakes
Street: 1st Place: Highland Oaks Dr., 2nd Place: Creekbend Dr. and 3rd Place: Sarah Brooks Dr.
Business: 1st Place: Sonic Drive-In, 771 Keller Pkwy. and 2nd Place: Kathy's Floral and Event Design, 318 Kellery Pkwy.
Best in Theme: 1502 Highland Lakes Dr.
The three individual winners all have accompanying music with their displays, and two of the yard displays interact with the music. If you’re wondering where you can take your family for an excellent light looking experience, look no further than these houses.
