DALLAS-- April 2, 2015 -- McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., a Texas builder for 36 years, recently appointed Adam Knoebel as the new senior vice president of operations for the Texas Region. Knoebel moved to Dallas from McCarthy’s headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri where he served as vice president of operations for the commercial and education group since 2010.

In Dallas, Knoebel had previously worked on the Adam’s Mark Hotel and conference center located downtown which is now the Sheraton Hotel.  

"Adam is a familiar face within the McCarthy family, and we are excited to welcome him to Texas,” said McCarthy Texas Region President Mike McWay. “Adam’s previous experience in day-to-day operations, quality and safety, coupled with his strong work ethic will make him a great asset to the expansion of the Texas region and the overall continued success of the company.” 

With more than 25 years of experience, Knoebel has managed award-winning projects totaling more than $700 million including Washington University Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Art, Edward Jones North and South Corporate Campus expansions, The Center for Disease Control in Atlanta and Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital, among others. Prior to serving as vice president of operations for McCarthy’s central division in St. Louis, Knoebel worked as a superintendent, project manager and project director at McCarthy.

Knoebel received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Engineering from Kansas State University.
