The Lady Scot varsity softball team will hold their annual 'Y-Night' this Friday at the HP Softball Field. Any young lady wearing their softball team's jersey will get FREE admission to the game.
This Friday, at the Highland Park High School Softball Field, the Lady Scots softball team will host Mesquite High School and will also celebrate ‘Raegan Davis Y Night’ in honor of the Lady Scots’ 2008-‘09 season team manager, Raegan Davis.
Y-Night is an event for young ladies who are interested in the game of fastpitch softball. Wearing your softball team jersey (either your YMCA jersey or club team jersey) will get you free admission to the game and entry into a raffle to win a Lady Scot batgirl t-shirt and a chance to throw out the varsity game's first pitch!
There will also be face painting and other prizes. The fun starts at 7pm. Come on out and root for the Lady Scots!
This past Tuesday, HP lost its first district game by falling to Lake Highlands 4-0. Though the loss ended the Lady Scots’ winning streak at 11 games, Highland Park is 10-1 in district and is in first place with three district games remaining.
