Thanks to a generous gift by HP Arts, the Bradfield second grade students enjoyed a visit from renowned children's author David Adler on Tuesday. Mr. Adler writes the popular series Cam Jansen Mysteries among other fiction and non-fiction titles. The students were super engaged with Mr. Adler and had the opportunity to ask him questions about his books and the writing process. Several students were asked to participate in his presentation as he talked about what inspires his stories. Above all, students left the presentation with a greater appreciation of what makes a interesting story. Mr. Adler encouraged the students that they all have a story to tell and can be wonderful writers! Again, special thanks to HP Arts for funding this visit from Mr. Adler.
