After finishing the 2017 season with 14 wins and 5 losses, along with another trip to the Texas State Final Four, a total of 10 Highland Park D1 Lacrosse players were honored with post-season awards.

 

Senior Long Stick Middie Chris Walker and Junior Defenseman Cade Saustad were named US Lacrosse High School All-American. Walker will attend Georgetown University in the fall on a Lacrosse Scholarship and Saustad has committed to play Lacrosse at University of Virginia after he graduates in 2018.

 

Three HP Scots were named to the THSLL All-State Team - Senior Face-Off Middle Kyle Massimilian (Harvard), along with Senior Long Stick Middie Chris Walker (Georgetown), and Junior Defenseman Cade Saustad (Virginia).

 

Earning THSLL North Texas All-District were Senior Captain Midfielder John House (Texas- Football), and Senior Captain Midfielder Parker Alexander (North Carolina), along with Junior Attackman Elliot Nelson.

 

Earning Honorable Mention THSLL North Texas All-District were Senior Attackman Max Holsomback, Junior Attackman Cooper Kneese, and Freshman Goalie Doak Walker.

 

Senior Captain Attackman and Syracuse commit, Owen Seebold, has been named Under Armor All- American. Seebold will play in the Under Armor High School Senior All-American game on Saturday, July 1, 2017, televised on ESPN at 7:00 PM Central time.  Only three Texas lacrosse players in history have been honored with this award, so tune in and cheer on your HP Scot representing Texas Lacrosse!
