Join the biggest annual space exposition in Texas at the Frontiers of Flight Museum for Moon Day 2017 on Saturday, July 22 from 10 a.m. 4 p.m. The day includes lots of activities, exhibits and presentations, such as featured guest speaker and astronaut Janet Kavandi. Visitors will also get to preview plans for the Apollo VII 50th Anniversary in 2018.
Moon Day 2017 honors previous space flight accomplishments and focuses on current and future activities in space exploration as well. Our STEM-focused event, with an anticipated audience of 2,000 visitors, includes programs and classes for all ages.
The event is presented jointly by the Museum and the National Space Society of North Texas.
Moon Day 2017 is free to museum members and free to nonmembers with museum admission. Free admission for all military families through the Blue Star Museum program. There is a $25 materials fee for Rocket Build.
