The 22nd Annual Fantasy Football Draft Night benefitting the Warren Center will be held Thursday, August 27th from 6:00pm-10:30pm at AT&T Stadium

This year’s event with Emcee, WFAA Channel 8 Sportscaster, Joe Trahan and Chairmen Michelle & Todd Steudtner, will feature: 

-Dinner and Drinks

-Silent auction

-Live auction including a 4-night stay with Exclusive Resorts and Cinema Tech media chairs.

-Live surprises

-Heads or Tails

-Opportunity to meet Celebrity Host, Randy White

-Participants will draft their own Fantasy Football team and compete in a league of friends and colleagues throughout the NFL Season. The Super Bowl Champion of Fantasy Football XXI will receive two season ticket packages to the 2015 Dallas Cowboys season. Winners of each league receive an autographed football signed by former Cowboys player, Randy White.

For over 47 years The Warren Center has worked closely with families in North Dallas to ensure that every child with developmental delays has continued success. They put children and families first through their Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program for  children birth to three, Therapy Services program for ages 3-5 and the Family Education and Support programs that show families they are not alone.

With the temperatures heating up, The Warren Center with BB&T North Texas Region hosted a Hometown Heroes Family Fun Day at Campbell Green Park in Dallas on Friday, June 26th from 9:30am-11:30am.  

The Warren Center’s Family Fun Days are free events offered to The Warren Center families throughout the year. Over sixty children and their families enjoyed the park’s water activities, balloon animals by Tina McCullough, visits by the Dallas and Richardson Police Department and the Dallas Fire Department, bubble machines and popsicles. 

BB&T North Texas Region served as the official Hometown Heroes Family Fun Day and built new a playhouse for the Warren Center outdoor playground. 

The Warren Center provides services for children birth to five years of age. Individual and group therapy is offered for children showing delays or disabilities in communication, social skills, motor/coordination skills, and sensory processing. For over 40 years The Warren Center has provided Early Childhood Intervention to children birth to five, working closely with families to ensure that every child has continued success.

The Warren Center and Former Cowboys Player, Randy White, hosted The Warren Center’s Fantasy Football Kickoff on Tuesday, May 19th from 6pm-8pm at Hotel ZaZa’s Dragon’s Den.

Guests arrived at 6pm to enjoy cocktails and strolling bites by Hotel ZaZa’s Dragonfly with welcome speeches by this year’s Fantasy Football Chairmen Todd Steudtner, Co-Chair Wife, Michelle Steudtner was not available to attend. Former Cowboys Player, Randy White was seen in the crowd and mixed and mingled with guests while posing for pictures. Guests left excited about the upcoming 22nd Annual Fantasy Football Draft Night which will be held on Thursday, August 27th from 6pm-10:30pm at AT&T Stadium.

Dragon Street was buzzing on Wednesday, May 6th as Designer Edo Popken hosted Photographer Jeremy Lock’s unveiling of his Burning Man Collection. Guests Steve and Anne Stodghill, Pat Holder, Dee Simmons, Jan Miller, Jeff Rich and Jeremy’s wife, D’Andra Simmons were greeted by Photographer Jeremy Lock clad in his Burning Man attire as they entered men’s retailer, Edo Popken of Switzerland (1523 Dragon Street). Mr. Lock showcased his work with canvases located throughout the retail space, presented a virtual video that documented his Burning Man experience and the inspiration behind his Burning Man collection and was on hand to answer any questions about his collection. 

Guests sipped on wine and champagne and enjoyed bites by Central Market as they strolled Mr. Lock’s artwork and Designer Edo Popken’s summer collection. 

The Burning Man Collection is on display at Edo Popken of Switzerland through June 22nd and will be featured at The Dragon Street Walks on Saturday, May 16th and Saturday, June 20th. Mr. Lock’s focus and intent through his Burning Man portraits was to capture a sense of theater and play and collectively explore the vivid lives each of us possesses within. The Friends of the Warren Center hosted their 1st Annual Spring Fashion Show, MOVEMENT, a city-inspired fashion show, on Thursday, April 30th from 6pm-8pm at the Couture Gallery (1300 N. Riverfront Blvd. Dallas, TX 75207). 

The fun-filled night began with guests mixing, mingling and enjoying light bites by Eddie V’s, cakeballs by CakeBallz and Neurosonic Beverages. 

Emcee Leah Frazier of DFW Style Daily began the fashion show produced by Willie Johnson of WJ Productions. Models from Frisco ISD, Friends of the Warren Center, The Warren Center children and special guest former Bachelor, Jake Pavelka strutted the runway for Spring/Summer and White Hot Summer Night scenes wearing Aftershock London, Elaine Turner, Edo Popken of Switzerland, Kid Biz and The Biz. Designer Shemara Jeyarajah concluded the show with her Shemara Couture line featuring her custom women’s cocktail dresses, suits, gowns and men’s shirts. 

Hair was provided by Blo Knox/Henderson and makeup by Makeup Zone.  100 Chance Bags were sold and featured Kendra Scott jewelry, Dinner for Two and Martini Set by Capital Grille, Wine/Jazz Reception for 10 at Eddie V’s, Package of 3 Microdermabrasions by Naila Malik, M.D. and $150 Microdermabrasion and Spray Tan Packages by Skintastic. 

Proceeds benefited The Warren Center.

Photobooth Backdrop

Hotel ZaZa Dallas hosted their ZaZa Spring Soiree on Thursday, April 23rd from 7pm-10pm. 

Despite the cloudy conditions and forecasted rain, guests mixed and mingled poolside with strolling bites by Hotel ZaZa’s Dragonfly restaurant which included tomato mozzarella caprese sticks, garlic steamed dutch island mussels with crispy red skin potatoes, pistachio mousse stuffed mini canollis and eggplant caviar cones with wheat grass pads. LaDuni’s MiCrema Catering also hosted a gelato station complete with a build your own dessert bar. 

To toast “Living the Sweet Life”, Veuve Clicquot champagne and Belvedere cocktails were passed while the Dallas String Quartet played classical tunes on the top of the roof of the hotel. Models clad in TOOTSIES and Edo Popken with La Dolce Vita inspired looks modeled at Hotel ZaZa’s front entrance and poolside. To capture the night, Photomadic hosted their photobooth complete with spring greenery and Vespa cycles.    

DJ Sober ended the night complete with a sparklers show by The Hotel ZaZa staff

TOOTSIES with Designer Nicole Miller hosted the Children’s Health Legacy of Love Benefit and Fashion Show Kickoff on Wednesday, April 1st from 5pm-8pm. The kickoff celebrated the Children’s Health Legacy of Love Benefit and Fashion Show on Thursday, April 2nd at Park Place Lexus, Plano. 

Sponsors and committee members enjoyed a 5pm VIP Reception with pictures with Designer Nicole Miller and from 6pm-8pm, guests enjoyed white wine, champagne, light bites by Betsy Lawson Catering, tunes by DJ Remy Ryan, and mix and mingling with Designer Nicole Miller. The Warren Center celebrated the spirit of Easter with a Family Fun Day at Harris Hollabaugh Recreation Center in Garland on Tuesday, March 31st from 9:30am-11:30am

The Warren Center’s Family Fun Days are free events offered to The Warren Center Families throughout the year. Over forty-five children dressed in spring attire and their families enjoyed pictures with the Easter Bunny, hands on art activities, and an Easter egg hunt thanks to the over 1000 eggs and Easter baskets donated by National Charity League moms and daughters from the Richardson community. Volunteers representing the following companies also attended and helped the event run smoothly: Ricart Insurance Agency, Business Wise, National Charity League, Farmers Business Systems and Richardson Chamber of Commerce. 

Sponsors Included: Snack sponsor-Oscar Arreola with Aa Facility Services, Inc.; Event sponsor-Jon Caine, Match.com.

The Friends of the Warren Center gathered Thursday, March 26th at the House of Blues’ exclusive Foundation Room for their monthly membership event hosted by McLauchlan, Adamson and Associates from 6pm to 8pm. 

Guests were greeted at the Foundation Room with light bites by the House of Blues and tunes by DJ Andre. Nick Adamson of McLauchlan, Adamson and Associates spoke on behalf of the Warren Center’s mission and services and Rebecca Stenoien, the Warren Center Communications Coordinator, encouraged guests to join the Friends of the Warren Center group and announced the upcoming Movement Fashion Show on Thursday, April 30th at the Couture Gallery from 6pm-8pm. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students
