About CISV DFW

CISV DFW, an all-volunteer organization, is one of many CISV chapters around the world. CISV (formerly Children's International Summer Villages)  hosts a variety of educational programs each year. Following the devastation of World War II, CISV was created to promote and maintain peace. CISV believes peace is possible through friendship and that the real difference can be made by starting with children.   CISV-DFW is hosting three programs in 2014 - Step Up (for youth age 15), Village (11 year olds) and our first IPP (International People's Project) working with African refugees in the Dallas area. Visit www.dfw.cisvusa.org  for more information.

About The Dallas Holocaust Museum Center for Education and Tolerance
The Dallas Holocaust Museum Center for Education and Tolerance inspires people to think about the consequences of their choices by remembering and teaching the Holocaust and other genocides. We raise some of the most fundamental questions about human nature and challenge all to think and to be Upstanders. The Museum is committed to teaching the moral and ethical response to prejudice, hatred and indifference for the benefit of all humanity. The Museum’s education programs have had a profound effect on people of all ages. Funds raised from Peace Day Dallas Awareness Adventure would allow Title One and economically disadvantaged students in the North Texas area to visit the Museum.
