The Women's Council of the Dallas arboretum presents A Writer’s Garden Valentine Tea to be held Tuesday, February 10 in Rosine Hall at the Dallas Arboretum from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. There will be a special appearance by noted author and stylemaker Michael Devine.  

The multi-talented Michael Devine – former editor, fabric designer, shop owner and gardener joins us from Kinderhook, New York to present his book “An Invitation to the Garden: Seasonal Entertaining Outdoors”.

A student of art history at the Ecole du Louvre, French at the Sorbonne and cooking at the Ritz Escoffier, Michael spent six years as style and party editor at HFN Magazine where he covered the glittering design world on both sides of the Atlantic.
 
Settling in the charming upstate village of Kinderhook, New York, Michael has pursued his design passion full time creating a bespoke fabric collection of modern traditional hand prints and unique accessories for the home.
