The Dallas Symphony Orchestra League hosted parties and bow rehearsals for the 34th Annual Presentation Ball debutantes during the busy holiday season. Kimberly Schlegel Whitman hosted the holiday tea for debutantes and their moms on December 18, chaired by Mari Epperson. Food Glorious Food donated festive holiday bites and sips. On December 22, a holiday party for debutantes, honor guard, and their parents was hosted in the home of Dr. Mark and Susan Geyer, chaired by Julie Jodie. A delicious array of food was provided by Dakota’s, which has been a sponsor each year since the inaugural ball in 1987. Park Place Dealerships provided a set-up for party photos making the evening fun for all. Gold Crown has been the valet sponsor for this extraordinary Ball season. Other events included a social mixer at the Park House and bow practice at the Meyerson Symphony Center.

The events lead up to the Presentation Ball to be held on February 8, 2020 at the Meyerson Symphony Center. The Honorary Chairs for the ball are Dr. Linda Burk and Dr. John Gilmore. Melissa Lewis is the Presentation Ball Chair and Kim Brannon is the DSOL President.

Founded in 1946, the mission of the DSOL is to support the Dallas Symphony Orchestra through service, education and fundraising activities. Since 1998 the League has contributed over $17 million in support of the Dallas Symphony Association’s Community Outreach and Education programs, which help bring the wonder of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra to thousands of youths and adults in the Dallas Metroplex.
