The Dallas Symphony Orchestra League 8th Annual Fashion Notes Design Award and Style Show was a live event held at Fairmont Dallas on October 21. The Venetian Room was at near capacity for the fundraiser.

Co-chairs were Kameron Westcott and Samantha Wortley, good friends who have chaired many events together. Dallas personality Scott Murray served as emcee. The event was sponsored by Veritex Community Bank who has been a sponsor for Fashion Notes since its inaugural event eight years ago. PaperCity was the print and digital local luxury lifestyle media sponsor.

DSOL President Venise Stuart introduced Honorary Chair Jimmy Westcott. As a community volunteer and philanthropist, Jimmy has served on many boards through the years with a passion for giving hope and help to underserved women and children It was a family affair: Kameron is married to Jimmy’s son, Court Wescott, making Jimmy her mother-in-law.

TOOTSIES was the sponsor for the adult fashions and Jojo Mommy provided the children’s outfits.

The fashion show was a family affair. Nerissa von Helpenstill, manager for TOOTSIES, modeled with her daughter Stella. Bob and Myrna Schlegel were in attendance with nearly all the Schlegel clan.
