The event chair was Eleanor McClendon Bond. Presentation Ball Chair is Jolie Humphrey and DSOL President is Sandy Secor. Honorary Chairs are Harriett and Chuck Gibbs.

The DSOL introduced the 2016-17 Debutantes during Announcement Weekend festivities June 3-5 which marked the official start of a season of events culminating with the 31st Presentation Ball, which will be held February 18, 2017.

The Presentation Ball, which was first held in 1987, is the largest fundraiser for the DSOL. Over $10 million has been raised for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra through the annual event, which was created with the vision of long-time League member Tincy Miller, who chaired the first ball.
