The Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on November 12 at Talulah & HESS on Abrams in Lakewood. The store, once two separate shops, are now combined in one space. The evening was a shopping event with 10 percent proceeds benefiting the Be Project, of program of The Family Place to combat bullying. Talulah & HESS’s holiday theme is centered around “the art of giving back.” Customers can shop for holiday gifts that also benefit a charity. Balls of Steel are used to chill whiskey and other liquors that shouldn’t be watered down with ice and a percentage of sales will benefit testicular cancer research.
