The much talked about and anticipated annual Vintage Fashion Show at the Antique Elegance Show will be presented on Saturday, February 20 at 12 p.m.
“Vintage Fashions in Shades of Black and White” will highlight over seven decades of fashions and accessories, giving a glimpse into the elegant past and the art of dressing. Shoppers can visit the vintage clothing dealers after the show.
The event is part of the two day Antique Elegance Show held on February 20 and 21 at the Richardson Civic Center, located at 411 W. Arapaho, Richardson, TX.
There are no reserved seats so early arrival is suggested for best seating.
Admission is $6 per person and includes full access both days to all the events at the Antique Elegance Show.
Other scheduled events include Mike Grimes with the Vintage Radio and Phonograph Society who will talk about the history and evolution of radios and phonographs in a one hour program “The History of Radios” on Saturday February 20 at 2 p.m. He will share his experience about how to collect, restore and appreciate radios and phonographs.
For all toy bear collectors, there will be a “Stearnsy Bears Homecoming” on Sunday, February 21 at 2 p.m. Collectors are encouraged to bring their bears or bunnies to have signed by Charles Stearns with photos taken to document them for the Stearnsy Bear Archives. An extensive display of the bears will be set up for viewing pleasure.
Also on Sunday, The Matt Tolentino Band will bring hot jazz music to the Antique Elegance show from noon to 2 p.m.
