Sandra Estess has been named Honorary Chair for A Writer’s Garden Valentine Tea. The event is hosted by the Womens’ Council of the Dallas Arboretum and will be held on Tuesday, February 9 at the Dallas Arboretum from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Sandra Estess has served as President of the Dallas Arboretum society since 2013. Her tradition of service in Dallas began in the 1970s as a volunteer at Children’s Medical Center. She is also a veteran in the field of education and was a founding member of Educational First Steps, dedicated to improving the quality and availability of early childhood education. In addition, Estess has served on the boards of the Episcopal School of Dallas, St. Mark’s School of Texas, the Hockaday Parents’ Association and the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.

Venise Stuart is Chair of the event and Renee’ Querbes Farren is the Women’s Council President.
