Dallas Pets Alive! Pup Crawl

Dallas Pets Alive!and Community Beer Company will host the 5th Annual Pup Crawl in Deep Ellum. All proceeds will benefit Dallas Pets Alive! and will go towards the medical and behavior care of pets awaiting adoption. Participants will receive a commemorative pint glass and five Community Beer Company pints (one at each location: Cold Beer Co., Anvil Pub, Twilite Lounge, Dot's Hop House and Braindead Brewery).

This dog-friendly event sold out last year, so participants are encouraged to register early. Check-in and wristbands start at 11:30 a.m. CDT and the crawl officially kicks off at 1:00 p.m. CDT. Brunch will be served before the pup crawl begins.

When: Sunday, May 28, 2017; 11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. CDT; Check-in and wristbands are from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. CDT

Cost: $30 early registration online; $40 at the door

Groups: Want to crawl with a group? Email info@dallaspetsalive.org with a list of teammates to be included in the same "dog pack." Limit 5 per team.

 

Note: Space is limited for dogs as pets are only allowed on the porches of our participating bars. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations and must get along with other dogs and humans.

The Pup Crawl is a community event that encourages responsible drinking by participants. When taking part in any events that involve drinking, always keep safety first. Don't DRINK and DRIVE, and assign a designated driver at the beginning of the event, use a ridesharing app or use public transportation.

Dallas Pets Alive! is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit rescue group dedicated to promoting and providing resources, education and programs to eliminate the killing of companion animals. DPA focuses on pulling pets from the rescue list at Dallas Animal Services and on proactive measures to reduce the number of animals entering the city shelter with their Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) and Positive Alternative to Shelter Surrender (PASS) programs.
