Phelps loves people and other dogs after he knows them for a few minutes. He has a pretty robust bark when he first meets new people or dogs, but all the whileh is wagging his tail. He likes to play with cats which they don't love, but he's friendly to them. Phelps would do well with a single person who wants companionship, or a family with children and other pets. Phelps' favorite events are snuggling, eating and playing. He's not overly active, but does enjoy some playtime playing catch, being chased or walks on his leash every day. Does this handsome guy seem like the pup for you? All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months is $200, and puppies under six months is $250, unless specified otherwise. You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallaspetsalive.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/. For more information, you can email adopt@dallaspetsalive.org.

About Dallas Pets Alive!

Dallas Pets Alive! is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit rescue group dedicated to promoting and providing resources, education and programs to eliminate the killing of companion animals. DPA focuses on pulling pets from the rescue list at Dallas Animal Services and on proactive measures to reduce the number of animals entering the city shelter with their Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) and Positive Alternative to Shelter Surrender (PASS) programs. DPA’s goal is to one day make Dallas a no-kill city.
