The Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth will be receiving donations of necessities for students of Texans Can Academies - Fort Worth Lancaster. The organization invites North Texans to drive up and drop off donations for a contactless way to help. About 95 percent of Texans Can Academies’ student population is economically disadvantaged, and during the current circumstances in our world, Texans Can Academies students are struggling more than ever. Many students have lost jobs, don’t have internet connections to continue their school work, or cannot afford basic needs.

Donations needed include non-perishable food items, baby wipes, diapers, shampoo, soap, razors, toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper, and other toiletries. There is also a need for donations of cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment including gloves, masks, disinfectant spray, wipes, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, and paper towels.

The donation center located at 249 W. Thornhill Drive in Fort Worth is open every Wednesday from 9 A.M. to 12 p.m. Simply drive up and volunteers will grab donations from your car, no need to exit the vehicle.
