Merriman Anderson/Architects Chosen as AIA Dallas’s Firm of the Year

Merriman Anderson/Architects, Inc. (MAA) was selected as AIA Dallas’s Firm of the Year for their annual Community Honor awards. The AIA Dallas Celebrate Architecture awards event was held on March 29, 2018 at Temple Emanu-El. The event celebrates design professionals and community members from related industries that continue Dallas’s tradition of design excellence on the national, state, and local level.

“We are proud to receive this prestigious recognition from our peers at AIA Dallas,” said Merriman Anderson/Architects founder and President Jerry Merriman, AIA. “It speaks volumes to our employees and the quality of work they produce.”

The highly coveted AIA Dallas Community Honors “Firm Award” is presented by AIA Dallas and is selected by a vote of peers each year. Chosen among a wide range of talented and reputable architecture firms in Dallas, this award selects one firm that has demonstrated outstanding commitment to design, practice, community and professional services. AIA Dallas’s Community Honor awards recognize the work and distinguished achievements of local firms on a national, state and local level.

MAA restored and converted Old Dallas High School, a110-year-old high school building in Dallas which sat empty for more than 20 years, into office and retail space.
