Texans Can Academy – Dallas Grant East Campus got into the giving spirit this holiday season by taking 14 students to the North Texas Food Bank to volunteer as well as donating food that was collected at their school.  Texans Can Academies – Dallas is instilling into their students the awareness of giving back to your community.

North Texas Food Bank is a hunger relief organization and one of North Texas’ largest charities. Millions of meals are distributed through the food bank thanks to volunteers like the 14 students from Texans Can Academies – Dallas.

During the past month, the students sponsored a food drive at their school for donations to the food bank. As volunteers they sorted and packed food at the North Texas Food Bank facility located in southwest Dallas.
