Fort Worth Can Academy received a visit of a different kind, think food truck, but with immunization shots instead of food. Recently the Caring for Children Foundation of Texas Inc. Care Van Programs made a special appearance at the Fort Worth Can Academy E. Lancaster Ave. Campus. Terri Lyons, RN and Beth Stodieck, RN were the helping hands administering care and attention to the students as they received their free immunizations.

A total of 54 Fort Worth Can Academy students received necessary vaccinations that they otherwise may not have had as part of their care routine. The students are now well on their way to class happy, healthy and ready to tackle their lessons.
