Council for Life hosted it’s 8th Annual Run for Life 5K on Saturday, April 1st at the Continental Bridge/Trinity Groves. Hundreds of women, men, children, along with over 30 students from Bowie Elementary came together in support of adoption. Proceeds from Run for Life benefit Gladney Center for Adoption and Buckner Children and Family Services.

“It was such an honor to see so many different groups of people from all across Dallas show up in support of adoption,” said Stephanie Pinkston, Run for Life co-chair, “I love the impact that Council for Life is making in the community and how evident it is that the culture in Dallas is one that supports LIFE.”

For the second year in a row, the race took place at the Continental Bridge/Trinity Groves. Runners enjoyed refreshments provided by The Hospitality Sweet, The Juice Bar and Tom Thumb. Music was provided by deejay Troy Dixon. Stephanie Pinkston and Caroline Binning served as Run for Life 2017 co-chairs, Margie Harris served as underwriting chair, Allie Beth Allman was honorary chair.
