Alert: Highland Park is evaluating specific sewer lines for defects and cross connections using a method of "smoke testing" this week. The smoke should not enter your home unless you have a cross connection with the sewer line. The smoke is non-toxic, odorless, does not leave a residue and does not create a fire hazard.
