According to Hillary Artzt, the Village Theatre in Highland Park Village will open this Friday, December 17th. Opening movie is Tron: Legacy 3D and will show at 4:25, 7:15 and 10:05pm. Morning Glory and Mega Minds will also be showing this weekend, leading up to December 22nd when the theater will be showing Little Fockers.
Website and phone number are still to come. Tickets for this weekend can be purchased beginning Friday afternoon at the theater. Online ticket sales will be up and running in the next couple of weeks. A grand opening celebration is currently planned for mid-January.
Marquee, the new restaurant next door to the theater, is planned to open mid-March and will be lead by Chef Tre Wilcox.
